Of course there is the beach, where you can spend hours playing in the sand or surfing the waves, but there will be days when you want to do something different, or just want to rest from the sun.

In a previous article, we offered some suggestions for family-style itineraries in Barbados. Here we go into more detail about some great places on the island that kids and parents can enjoy.

Graham Hall Nature Sanctuary

Located in Christ Church Parish, the Graham Hall Nature Sanctuary is the largest body of inland water in Barbados and is home to hundreds of species of beautiful birds and animals.
