Q. Does it hurt?

Q. What is the difference between a male Brazilian and a shaved Hollywood male?
It’s all in a name… Basically, the men’s Brazilian is where some of the pubic hair is left in, and is usually styled, trimmed or waxed as required by the client, and the men’s Hollywood wax is when all the hair is removed. All Brazilian or Hollywood male hair removal treatments allow clients to remove as much or as little hair, and generally include; the groin area, the speedometer line and the buttocks and the inside of the butt area. The therapists all have different names for their treatments so just clarify what you want when you book and the therapist will name it for you! Q. Should I cut or shave my hair first?
No No No… It’s best to let your therapist do it for you as they will trim the hair to the best length that will ensure the wax will grip the hair (too short and it won’t grip) and the hair will be short enough to hair removal as comfortable as possible for the client. If you have shaved close down there leave it for 4 weeks before scheduling a waxing appointment as you will be wasting your money as it will probably be too short and stubble and you won’t get a smooth finish… Don’t shave and then shave in between waxing, takes forever to get back on track…
Q. What happens if I get excited during the hair removal treatment?
Your therapist will be a professional and ignore you. It often happens initially, but usually as soon as the waxing process begins things tend to change and things go back to normal pretty quickly.
Q. When will the hair grow back?
In general, most clients will get two weeks of nice, smooth skin. If you decide that you are going to keep your Brazilian wax for men, then you really should do it every 4-6 weeks, and the area will be smooth and hair-free for the maximum time. Regular, or maintenance, waxing is easier as the hair that regrows is finer and easier to remove. So if you want to be the softest peach on the beach, book your follow-up appointments.
